Uninstall MS Office 2007 Beta

Longfellow

I have tried to get help from a ' MS.newuser.beta' site, but
there has not been a reply.
I regard this newsgroup as being the best that I have ever used.
So.
Please can you tell me how to Uninstall MS Office 2007 Beta.
(Running XP SP2)
This was a try-out from a magazine, that I have used and liked,
but would now like to uninstall.
There is a process described in a magazine that
would be impossible for me to try; it has some
11 Registry edits; indicates that Windows Installer
can become corrupted.
I understand that if I buy MS Office 2007, I need to uninstall
this beta product before I can do the install.
Please, please can you help?

Hi

Have you tried uninstalling Office beta via Add/Remove Programs?

First, many thanks for taking the trouble to send a reply.
When I used Control Panel > Add and Remove >
I get a message that a file is unavailable or corrupt and the uninstall
fails.
My magazine says ..
"The process outlined here is quite involved - but its worth a try -
the only other alternative is to reinstall windows from scratch"
I just hoped that someone had used a magic bullet and would reply.
..... From Google ... there is a process that looks a little easier than
my magazine.
Has anyone used it?
