Uninstall Mousware

Just bought a new MS mouse and the installation tries to
remove Mouseware from my system and can't extract some
files, so it won't install the new Intellipoint software.
Tried to uninstall from Add /Remove and I get the same
error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try instaling mouseware (d/l again if you have to) and THEN let MS remove it (or do it manually before new mouse installation). goodluck
