Hi everyone. I have an old laptop that my 5 year old uses. It started off
with Win98, then was upgraded to 2000Pro. However, in order to make more
memory available and to run faster, I would like to revert it back to 98. Is
there a way I can uninstall 2000 and automatically have it go back to 98
without doing a full install of 98?

Thanks for any info!

Do you see anything in add/remove programs that would uninstall/revert? If
not, a full reinstall is your only option.

No, there isn't.

No. There is no supported downgrade path. The only way to revert from
Win2K to an older OS is to format the hard drive and start afresh.
