unhide outlook icon in taskbar

I hid the envelope icon in the taskbar due to space at the time but I need to
unhide the icon for new email but can't find anything on it.

After furious head scratching, dickf asked:

Try this in task bar: Rt Clk/Toolbars ---Hopefully Quick Launch is Not Chk'd
and you should Chk it -- Do U then see Icons? Outlook to launch for new email
is a square - an envelope is an Open Email Message minimized. I presume
you're looking for the Square Quick launch Icon to launch Outlook and Not the
Envelope.

If you mean Hide Outlook Icon (by the clock) When Minimized , there's
nothing there unless Outlook is Open - unless it's Open and hidden by the
clock which has an arrow beside it - try clking the arrow. My Outlook Icon
always shows, though, even when Hide When Minimized is in use.

Worst case: In XP Outlook.exe is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11 -- Rt Clk .exe / Send To (desktop shortcut) and either leave
