New Message Envelope

I clicked on the new message envelope icon on the system tray and selected
hide. How can I unhide it? I want it back.
 
Tools, Options, Email options, Advanced Email Options. Select it again. You
can also set the length of time and other settings.

Right-click an empty area of the system tray and choose "Customize
Notifications". Locate "You have new unopened items" and change its
behavior to "Always show".
