UK VAT is 17.5%. If you reduce the UK price of Vista by 15%, this will give
the UK cost without VAT of £314.49, even that's way higher than the US
price. And the price is similar in most European countries.

Using that logic, UK denizens pay more towards the fine than Eurozone

I was looking forward to buying the Ultimate Edition of Windows Vista
and was expecting the price to be about £20 more than the USA pay
for it, which would be around the £215 mark.

However at £369, Microsoft can go and f**k themselves. They are
having a laugh, surely!
I really hope that people in the UK boycott this product while it is
so ridiculously overpriced.

Why do you want it? Presumably you are presently using XP, what do you
need which Vista has and which XP has not?

Other than a pretty interface, which you can install on your XP o/s if
you use something like Vista Transformation Pack, from

That way Gates doesn't get any more of your cash and you haven't got to
put up with the bugs, phone-homes and all the other problems which come
ready-packed with Vista.
