Unexpected shutdowns (might be caused by NVIDIA drive)

I'm having a problem with unexpected shutdowns. I'll be in the middle of
using my computer and then it will suddenly shut down. It's happened twice in
the past few days. When Windows booted up again the first time, it said
Windows had recovered from a serious error with the following:

C://WINDOWS//Minidump/Mini020305-01.dmp
C://Documents and Settings/Ash/LOCALS~1/Temp/WER2.tmp.dir00/sysdata.xml

The second time this happened, I got the same error but then another error
as well saying that there was an unexpected shutdown that seems to be due to
my NVIDIA drive.

Does anyone know what could be wrong here? Could my drive be dying? Is this
what it does when its on its last limbs? It's a few years old now, at least.
I'm not too familiar with all of this.

I did not know that NVidea makes drives........which one do you have??

You should download the drivers which have the same date of your card (the date on which the card appeared). nVidia cards are very annoying on this task. Find them here:

What do your event viewer logs say? The only time I've ever had anything
close to a sudden shutdown-blue screen it turned out to be an ASPI Driver
conflict. You did say DRIVE not card, right?
