Look in two other places for clues:

Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Problem Reports and Solutions > View
Problem History

And Start Orb>Search box>type: eventvwr.msc to run the Event Viewer.

Does the rebooting seem to happen randomly? If yes, this is probably a
hardware fault. Could be overheating, could be bad RAM, could some other
piece of faulty hardware. In any case, a new computer should not be acting
this way. Take it back immediately for replacement.

On the other hand, if the rebooting started right after you installed
something, then uninstall whatever it was and see how that goes. Software
faults usually produce symptoms that are regular instead of random.
