UNEXPECTED MODE TRAP

We are getting the message UNEXPECTED MODE TRAP on a
computer when it boots. After re-booting the message still
comes up.
I can't find anything on Tech Net about this message.
Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect/disable all non-critical hardware; replace memory modules;
replace CPU; replace m/board :)
