"Unexpected Error" with XP pro raid sp2 RAID install

Hiya (I hope this is in the right place),
I'm having a hell of time doing a fresh install of xp pro sp2 on a pair of
seagate 80G drives in raid 0 (Or so says the raid bios). I've got an Epox nF3
board, with a 3200 venice. I boot to the XP cd, F6 for drivers, wait... press
S, choose the Raid drivers on my floppy, and get this error...

"File SI3114R.SYS caused an unexpected error (4096) At Line 2113 in
D:\XPSRTM\BASE\BOOT\SETUP\OEMDISK.C.

Press any key to continue"

I've done probably a dozen RAID 0 installs on a nF2 board, and never gotten
this problem. Yes I have them plugged in right, Yes the jumpers are correct,
Yes the floppy is fine, Yes the drivers are up to date. So I press any key,
go through the motions and it gives me 3 drives to install XP on. Two 80G
seagates, and a 60G WD (I've tried to install with this in and out, seems
indifferent). But, my RAID bios tells me that i've got the 80G seagates in
raid 0, with a capacity of 149G... But xp is obviously ignoring that. I dont
know what to do, I've tried messing around with the drivers in notepad, but
to no avail. I've found lots of posts via google where people had problems
similar to this, but nothing EXACTLY the same, and no real solution was
offered, just a reply saying "NEVERMIND, FIXED!" I've also tried to install
using XP Home with no luck.

help!

Well SP2 isnt installed that way,you need to install SP2 in windows explorer.
As for the F6 problem(s),try disconnecting the WDC hd,make sure the BIOS
has the RAID set as 2nd boot priority giving the xp cd 1st,thier are
usually 3 or
so settings that allow RAID in the BIOS (advanced chipset)..
