Unexpected domains\workgroups visible

All of a sudden our network is full of unexpected workgroups
(domains?) - not all the time but it's pretty unsettling. I think it
happens when one of our staff is working from another site and VPNs
in. We are using the sonicwall VPN client but authenticating to the
local SBS 2003 server - I have two questions if there is anyone who
can help.

1. Can "they" see my network?
2. How do I stop the browse list spreading to this side of the VPN.

I'm sure I will find more to worry about regarding this but it's a
start

Thanks in advance

I am a bit surprised that this happens. Most people have the opposite
problem - they can't browse across a VPN link!

Your Domain Master Browser will include any other domains or workgroups
that it can see. It is unusual for it to see the network behind a dialin
client. Or are you using some sort of LAN to LAN VPN link?

The VPN data comes through the firewall still encrypted and
encapsulated, so there is not much you can do with firewall settings to
block the traffic.
