I've got a user who has the strangest problem. She'll be typing an
email, then maybe take a little break to do something else for a while,
come back to the email (sometimes she saves it in Drafts, sometimes she
just minimizes it or leaves the window open), and all the sudden her
font size has changed for anything new she types. Sometimes it looks
fine, but if she goes into Sent Items and checks the email, some of the
text is of larger font and some isn't.
I've checked the following things:
1. Ran a spyware scan with Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D
2. She's using SP3 for Office 2K
3. She does not have any Accessibility options checked in IE or Control
Panel
4. Her International Fonts in Tools | Options | Mail Format are all set
the same
5. She's on Windows XP SP2.
6. She's not using a wireless mouse or keyboard
7. Her mouse and keyboard are working fine (the ctrl key isn't stuck
down or anything)
8. I've done Detect & Repair and even uninstalled and reinstalled
Office 2K.
Short of a nuke and pave, is there anything else I can do?
