Undoing Read Only Files

I have Access 2002. I downloaded files and tutorials from
www.course.com. When I tried to open a file it says, "You
won't be able to save changes made to data or object
definitions in this database."

I tried deselecting the Read Only checkbox and it says
Access denied. Please help.

Do you have full (read, write, create, modify) permissions on the
folder containing the file?
