I have had a virus in this file, so i had to delete the
folder, which deleted the virus,can you tell me what this
file was for. And what if anything i need to replace now
i have deleted this.

i have windows xp pro.

There is no UNDO folder that is related to Windows. Can you give us
the full path to the CAB folder? The folder may be related to some
third-party application.

The undo\backup\cab directory is there for uninstalling Windows XP. If you
delete this directory you cannot uninstall Windows XP and go back to your
previous OS.
