Undo a Control Association

While trying to set up a label and control association, I inadvertantly
connected the label to the wrong control. What is the way to undo that
association?

Select the label and cut it (from the Edit menu, or using Ctrl-X).

Select the control to which it should be associated, and paste the label
(from the Edit menu, or using Ctrl-V).
