Undisplaying Word 2000 Margin Corner Markers

When in Print Layout, using Word 2002, gray "right angle" margin symbols are
displayed onscreen in each of the four corners of the margin of each page of
a document. They don't print, of course, but I can't figure out how to turn
them off so they do not display on screen. Unchecking "Text Boundaries" in
the Tools/Options/View menu doesn't remove them. Any help? Thanks!
