Undisclosed recipient

Many times you can receive emails with 'undisclosed recipient' in the 'To:'
column. I am told you can achieve this by using BCC. If I send an email to
another user on my computer (for testing purposes), putting that email
address in the BCC box, then my email address appears in the 'To:' box in
the resultant email. Why is that, considering that I did not enter my email
address anywhere? Does the 'undisclosed recipient' result from a sender
using a program (or email client) other than Outlook?

Thanks

create a group and name it "undisclosed recipients " or whatever you like,
then add the contacts to that group that you wish to send your mail. Then
send the mail to the group name...

Bill, I tried your suggestion. I made a Distribution List called Group 1 and
added a few email addresses to this list (family addresses). I put Group 1
in the BCC box. Nothing appears except for my email address in the To: field
in the email. These messages we receive from time to time with "Undisclosed
Recipient" must be using an email client other than Outlook. Anyway, that's
my conclusion.

Cheers

Dont put it in the bcc section. Address the mail to GROUP1 in the regular TO
section and you will see it sent that way.
