undetermined string length error

on some web sites, I get a number of error messages that
ask me if I want to debug - after clicking cancel a
number of times, the page (ususally) loads correctly -
the error messages are bothersome, though - what can I do
to fix??

addition - the error windon say runtime error, then lists
a line number, then say it is of the type undetermined
string length

From IE> Tools> Options> Advanced...
Check "Disable script debugging" and uncheck "Display a notification about
every script error."
