Undesirable default behavior

Let's say I mistype Google's URL - www.google. com (there's a space
between the "." and the "com".)

My IE6 browser "helpfully" goes to MSN.

I would like to disable this, and not go anywhere, or go to Home, instead.

What can I do to fix this?

Try IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Search from the address bar>
CHECK "Do not search from the address bar."
