underlining problems in email only

Suddenly everything I type in email is underlined. How do I rid myself of
this stuff?

In Outlook Express, it should be Tools > Options > Compose -> Font settings
(mail) and uncheck 'Underline'.

Other e-mail clients have similar settings.
