I run Win XP Pro and Outlook 2000 on a 3 year old ARM
notebook computer. I have a local ISP with a dial-up
connection.
Can you tell me why I am getting email messages from "Mail
Delivery Subsystem" and others telling me that such-and-
such addresses have permant fatal errors, when I never
sent emails to the addresses in the list?
Thank you for your time.

another annoying spam trick. they put that in the subject
line so people think they have returned mail and will open
it . As opposed to putting the norm Viagra in the subject.
None the less when you open the undelivered mail you
arestill looking at an add. or it could even execute
malicious code.

In addition to the other reply - spammers and viruses spoof senders, all the
time. So you will get the NDR/undeliverable message because the receiving
server thinks the message came from you.
