Uncommanded Start Menu

Heres the deal.
My computer spec roughly, 1.2gig AMD CPU, 256meg Ram,
20Gig hard drive half full, WinXP home with one user.
Just recently my computer has started opening the start
menu, then random programs within it uncommanded. The
mouse will flick to the menu then it all starts
happening. sometimes it will boot me off the net, or
close down the program I am running, once hid the mouse.
Any Ideas please. (have run latest ,06/05/04, update of
AVG antivirus, Adaware and spybot, restored computer to
an earlier time(two months ago, before it started doing
this), and been running basic zone alarm.
