Unclassified.Trojan.93

I have recently installed the Antispyware beta and when
running a thorough scan of the computer the results tell
me that I have 7 registry keys with the resident
Unclassified.Trojan.93. Apparently this is a browser
modifier. On closer inspection of the said infected
entries, they all appear to be in relation to my ATI
Catalyst driver for my graphics card, with the entries
having names such as Catalyst Context Menu. Is anyone
else having this come up as a severe threat and is it
actually a severe threat or am I right in assuming it is
a legit part of my ATI driver?
Thanks

Seems to be a new catch as of yesterday. I'm seeing
exactly the same thing, though in my case I'd set it to
remove spyware upon detection, breaking Catalyst :-(

I'm confident it's an error, but I'm not so sure how to go
about reporting it.

This is the place to report this--thanks!

Since it is classed as a trojan you should probably take some minimal steps
to be sure the files are legitimate, but this sure sounds like a false
positive to me.

What definition versions?

Hi, I got the same thing on mine, and I also have ATI
video card, I assume it's a false positive, and not
really a Threat, since ATI is a very well Known company
of Video cards, and stuff. Hopefully someone with
expert knowledge on why it's even picking up gets to this
topic.

Definition Version 5743 for me, 8/6/2005 8:35:23P.M.
Today is the 7th so updated last night to latest version.

Thanks all

Yup, I get exactly the same. If you allow MS Anti-Spyware
to remove it, it does remove your ATI Catalyst control
centre. Luckily it's an easy reinstall. So this is
definitely a FALSE positive.

This is just to confirm that this issue has been resolved in the 5745
definitions which I installed this morning.

Thanks for the quick turnaround,
Jason
