uncaching passwords for SMB shares?

It seems to me that after you've logged into an SMB share that
required a username / password, the username / password is cached
until some predetermined amount of time has past. Is there a way to
clear the cache prematurely?

I tried doing the things described in that link, but I'm still able to
login, without being prompted for a username / password.
