Unavailablefor reconnecting

I have a network of one laptop and one desktop. I have shared folders on
laptop so i can access them on desktop. I synchronise on logon and logoff.
However fairly regularly I get pop up on desktop saying its gone offline.If I
try and synchronise it says 'unavailable for reconnect'
Looking at my network connection it says it is connected and I am able to
access internet on both machines - but just not 'talk to each other'.
How do I go online again?

I've had the same problem and found switching to 3rd party software to be
most effective. There are several very good programs out there that provide a
means of keeping two or more computers insync with each other. Checkout
Computer Power Users website or Google "Shared Files". Don't pick the first
pritty face that comes along spend some time looking under the hood. My
network layout is similar to yours with two desttops and a Laptop.
