Can the swap file for a network install be on a network
share? If so, what's the command line syntax for
winnt.exe? I've tried using /t with an absolute path and
by mapping a drive but the only way I can get it to work
is to have the C: drive of the target machine already
formatted.

Also, the file copy portion of the installation takes
over two hours, is this typical? We're 100 Mb switched
and I can ghost the same system in 15 minutes.

It sounds very much as if you're not loading SmartDrv, which leads to very
slow installation.

The temporary location must be on a local disk, so you need to format the C:
drive first if you wish to use winnt.exe.

Have you thought about RIS?
