Unaccessable Boot Device

many times after booting I get the following message:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error
screen, restart your computer.
If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly
installed hard drives or hard
drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it
is properly configured and
terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive
corruption, and then restart your
computer.

Refer to your Getting Started manual for more information
on troubleshooting Stop
errors.

I have upgraded to SP4.
How do I fix this?

Have you installed a new controller? Win2K may not
recognise your new controller. You need to install the
driver from a manufacturer disk.

I you hve just installed Win2K, you might have ignored the
prompt to press F6 (which came very early and quickly at
the start) for additional controllers.
