I would recommend installing an archiving program that supports zip format.
Support for zip files in Vista is rather elementary, for example it doesn't
support multipart zip archives.
ya use some another 3rd party zip utility for accessing those zip archives
and there might be one other reason also in not opening of those folder in
c:\ as zip folders are potentially most highly used packets for delivering
viruses and trojans, so this might be also the one problem, just copy it
another drive and then check...
