I have a user who on his Windows XP notebook goes to save an attachment
or file on his notebook by using the "Save As" command to pick the
format and location.

When he attempts to do this now, it is grayed out and he cannot select
anything from the drop down tree.

The same goes if he tried to open a previous link in Internet Explorer.

Thoughts?

Thanks...Dave

You don't have to you Save As option to download an attachment. When you will
click on the attachment, Internet Explorer will automatically ask you to do a
particular task that do you want to Open/Run or Save the attachment.
