Hi,
On January 2001, a user named Mike Stevens posted a request for help,
reporting the above line ("Unable to use requested block size of
28553K using 16382K.... 36.26% of memory is testable..... ") as a
report he got by running a system check using fix-it 3.0.
He got no response to his posting.
I experience an identical problem, this time on a pentium III, win2k
pro system, running fix-it 5.0
My pc is very slow, much slower than expected, and I wonder if this
report has something to do with my problem
So, if you have an explanatio or a suggestion, please let me know. (If
you know Mike Stevens' email address, please send it to me. In his
posting, Mike reported his email as (e-mail address removed), which shows he
is spam aware, and may prefer a personal message rather than a
list-mediated posting).

You're going a long way back - almost 3 years. Are you sure
Mike Stevens is still alive?

Pegasus,
For Mike Stevens' benefit I hope he is alive...
For my own benefit, the (in my case) "52.75% of memory is testable" is
alife and still biting.
Can you, or anyone else, explain the message?
Can you, or anyone else, suggest a solution?
