unable to use dos based programs

trying to download powerpoint viewer as i dont have powerpoint and i need to
view some attachments in my email.it is coming up with an error .16 bit
subsystem. c:windows system 32.autoexec.nt..the system is not suitable for
running dos and microsoft windows applications. any suggestions
 
Not able to answer your question, but if someone does have a solution, I'm
getting the same error message while trying to install software for my Sony
Clie.

Search your drive for a copy of the "autoexec.nt" file. Copy to the
"system32" folder. This should take care of the problem. I run into this
all the time with older
16bit versions of my companys program.
