Outlook takes no active part in the sync operation and there are no settings
within Outlook that can control the sync. You'll have to ask in a Windows
Mobile newsgroup.

I am having the same problem with the folowing exceptions. When I try to
sync my IPAQ I get this meesage. Synchonization can not be completed because
Microsoft Outlook cannot open the Task folder. Close Outlook and then start
Outlook again. Once Outlook again. once Outlook is running, disonnect your
mobile device and reconnect. If the problem persists, reinstal Outlook.

Well I did all of this and I still cannot get a sucessfull sync.

Try recreating your partnership, but first back up both your PDA and Outlook's
folder.

Well I tried this and I got the same message: Synchonization can not be
completed
because Microsoft Outlook cannot open the Task folder. Close Outlook and
then start Outlook again. Once Outlook again. once Outlook is running,
disonnect your
mobile device and reconnect. If the problem persists, reinstal Outlook. I
reinstalled Outlook 2007 and then ran repair on the Office 2007 and got the
same rult. This all began after I recovered my backup file for Outlook 2007.
