Hi
Site overview
1250 internet kiosks over 134 sites
A small number of our sites are experiencing sign in issues with the Windows
Messenger service recently. This is not isolated, in that 15 PCs in one site
may fail while the other 30 exeperience no issues.
All workstations are XP and configured to specifically use the .net service,
all have worked successfully for 1 year until now. WE have disabled
anitvirus, checked for firewall issues, router and switch issues none exist
...
Message is as follows.
"We are unable to sign you in to .NET messenger service, possibly because of
a problem with the service or with your Internet Connection. Please make
sure you are connectted to the internet."
We are connectted to the internet have confirmed the account is active on
another machine, and the status of the service is OK.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
