Unable to share 'Printer' with two computers

Hi:
My printer, 'HP Photosmart 3300 All-in-One series' has already
'wireless' feature installed. Then, I thought it was NOT hard for me
to make 'Printer Sharing.'

However, for some reason, I have not completed 'Printer Sharing,' even
though I did this by 'Network Wizard' on both computers.
My computers, HP have same features with Windows XPs.

Is there any way to make 'Printer Sharing?'

Thanks for your help in advance.

Have you installed the software? The HP All-in-One software must be installed and running on the computer.. To verify that the HP All-in-One software is running on a Windows system, look for the HP All-in-One icon in the system tray at the lower right side of the screen.

Robert is correct. You may have firewall or security software issues when
installing the HP software, but this is not a Windows Printer Sharing issue.
If your computers are connected to a network and the HP device can make a
wireless connection to that network, then both of your computers should be
able to use the printer. This is true regardless of whether the computers
can share their own files and locally attached printers. The HP docs pretty
much walk you through the setup process:

If the printer has its own 'wireless' networking feature installed, I
don't think that you need to enable 'Printer Sharing'. Each computer
should be able to access the printer directly via the network.

A shared printer would be connected to one computer only, and other
computers would access the shared printer through the first computer.

Install the HP All-in-One software on each computer, as Robert L
suggested.

Hi:
Thanks for the responses.

I could not 'add printer,' even though I used 'Add Hardware Wizard,' then there is NO 'HP 3300 All-in
One' icon in the system tray. The computer could NOT find the 'All-in-One,' although it says,
everything working fine when I went to 'Device Manager' to look at Printer which is on the Device
Manager.

Besides this, the second computer could not load 'scan' that is one of 'All-in-One' features, although
I managed to install in full on the first computer. There is no 'All-in-One' icon in the system tray
at the lower right side of the screen, either.
However, there is 'All-in-One,' on Printer & Fax from Control Panel.

Is this to be a problem NOT able to 'share printer?'

Thanks,

Assuming you have the software installed and you don't have the icon in the system tray, you should be able to run the HP software from all programs.
