unable to send messages Outlook 2000

Hi. My messages will not send from the outbox. I am
using road runner. The smtp server is set up correctly.
I am able to ping the smtp server so that is working. The
incoming messages work perfectly, so does the
browser/mIrc/ftp applications.

The outbox messages just sit there. Roadrunner is saying
it is Outlook. Can anyone help? I am using outlook 2000

Much Thanks,

Dan

Try rekeying the email address instead of using the "To"
function which takes the address from the Contacts. if it
works, you know you have to delete each contact and rekey
them one at a time and make sure the checkmark is checked
to include it as an Outlook Address in the contact
Properties. Hope it works. If it does, you can Export
your Contacts as a .CSV. file to a folder on your HDD and
then remove your Outlook address book and then add the
outlook Address book back and when you open Outlook do an
Import of the .CSV file into the Contacts folder to get
them all back. Then you must check the Properties for
each Contact and make suer it is checked to include it in
the Outlook Address Book. Sounds like a lot of work but
it saved me and countless others on many occasions.
