I have been using Outlook 2003 for some time. Without any changes I'm aware
of, I suddenly can not send out E-mails directly. I can receive, reply and
forward without a problem.

E-mails I send directly show up in the sent file, but aren't delivered.

The Outlook "test" for addresses sucessulyy send me an E-mail.

I can't understand how I can reply and forward successfully.

I am not an extremely knowledgeable user.

Add a delivery receipt next time you try to send an e-mail and see if it is
getting to the destination server.

I do not receive any delivery notification back.

Have you tried using another account in Outlook?

I can't understand why you can reply but can't send either.

i cannot send emails from outlook... i can receive fine... whenever i try to
send or forward i receive an "undeliverable" email with the following line at
the bottom:

"550 relaying mail to wachovia.com is not allowed"...

Sounds like your outgoing server setting or possibly another setting within
the email account setup is not correct. I would double check them with the
ISP if you are not sure about them

i just had the isp people on the phone.... i reset the email account and
reset the incoming and outgoing email setting... nothing worked... they
suggested it was an outlook problem and suggested re-installing outlook

You don't say but I assume you checked your web based email account for
duplicates? If you have another email account, try adding it to Outlook and
seeing if you have the same problem.

I suspect you're not authenticating properly to the outgoing server. Your
mail address contains a domain that does not match the domain of your
outgoing server and you're not specifying the correct username and password
for that server. The ISP people are blowing smoke at you.
