Unable to see START Menu and TASKBAR

The Start button and desktop icons are not visible. The
wallpaper is the only item that we can see. Currently
using Task Manager to access programs. When right-
clicking on a program name, we can send it to the desktop
and no error message is received, however the icon is not
displayed on screen. Please help.

You may have Autohide enabled. If you do, then you won't
see the Start Menu or the Task Bar. Also, if there is a
group policy setting configured to hide them, then you
won't see them.
