Unable to see settings (after system redo)

I had to redo my system and installed over my windows directory folder.
Everything went fine. However, when i installed MS Anti-Spyware aplication,
it does not seem to work right.

It does not depect spyware intallations, and i am unable to modify stuff
such 'start up', browser urls and such.

Exsample: under 'Advanced Tools' / 'System Explorers' - it should diskpay
items such as "start up" and other things. However, after my system redo, it
displays black and there is nothing showing there.

I have tried unistalling the program, deleting all files under 'Program
Files' and registry entries to no avail.

Anyone out there encounterd a similar problem?

Try these two solutions:

You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in Control
Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Updªte.

Then, try these steps:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> type in -> command)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quºtes).
3) Close and re-open Windows Defender.

You can go ahead and do both of these--neither has any downside risk--and
see if that does the job.

Let us know whether it does, or nºt!
