Unable to see Event Viewer results

Hi,

I was uninstalling a software, and once uninstalled, I
tried to remove some keys in the registry.

I think I've done something bad, because, since then, I'm
unable to see application registry events. I can run event
viewer, but there aren't events, almost not seems to
exist. although it says to be 2.047 events, and I can
select anyone (invisible), but not open it. I've tried to
apply SP4, but it gets me an error:
unale to register event

Does anybody know what happened and how to solve it?

You'll need to restore the registry from a recent backup.
