Hello,
I'd like to post my solution for my saving problem with
MM2. Looked for a solution for a long time and yesterday I
found a way. My problem was that I was not able to save a
movie I created with a higher resolution than 640x480. If
I select anythong with higer resolution and higher bitrate
I get all this errors "hang, thousands of minutes, MM2
crashes" -> see PapaJohns Webpage. I tried everything I
can find. At least I'm out of these after I changed my
settings for the virtual memory. My file size for the
virtual memory was set to min. 384 and max. 768 MB. Every
time I tried to save to higher resolution I get a message
that the systems trys to greate a greater pagefile and at
this point the system hang or crash or ... So I changed my
settings to min. 768 MB and max. 1024 MB. This was my
solution and may be you can try.
Greetings,
Udo
