When I move an appointment from one location to another, I get a message pop
up, Unable to save free/busy information. Unable to open the free/busy
information. As far as I know, I do not share any information to other
computers concerning my calendar. However, I do use a pda. This happens
everytime I work in calendar which is a good bit during the day. Please help.
Thanks

I have looked at other posts of people having similar problems. I am not
sharing my calendar or looking up anyone elses calendar. Also, I tried to run
clean free/busy, but it says "unable to clean your free/busy information on
this server" There is no other server.

Click Tools>Options>Calendar Options?Free/Busy Options. What do you see?

Publish 2 months free/busy information on the Server. Update free/busy
information on the server every 15 minutes.
I don't know why this is here. I have never shared my calendar except with
my pda. Thanks for looking into this.

What happens if you publish zero months?

I published 0 month's and tried 0 minutes to update and got an alert to
update between 1 and 99. I choose 1 minute but published 0 months. Also, I
unchecked the box "When sending meeting requests over the internet use
icalendar format". This was checked and now I unchecked it. I went back to
one of my appointments and moved it from one day to another, drag and drop
and got the pop up again "unable to save free/busy info......" I don't know
what I did different. This was not happening last week. Crazy!! Thanks for
trying to help. I'm stumped.

Brian,
Thanks for looking into this. It was and still is a mystery to me. I turned
my computer off and back on again. Hot synced again. Went into Outlook - in
that order. Now my Calendar is fixed. I have no idea how this worked. But,
now I know a little about free/busy, though I may never use it. Funny, I
tried to clean free/busy and it would not find it. I have never set it up so
I don't know why I started getting these errors. I guess it will remain a
mystery unless you know something else. Thanks again for your time and
effort. Should have tried to turn the computer off before I looked into this.
Live and Learn!! Again Thanks!!
