Unable to run IE 6.0 on Guest or Limited Accounts

My computer uses Windows XP Pro and as administrator, I
have no problem using the internet. But any account, be
it Guest or one without administrative privledges
(Limited) cannot use the Internet Explorer to view
websites. However, these same accounts are able to use
the wireless Internet signal to access instant messenger
programs such as AIM and Yahoo Messenger. That means that
the Internet must be working fine. Plus, the computer
says that the signal strength is excellent. Please help. -
Cecil.

Does IE even load?

My guess is that you have locked down the machine via NTFS or registry
permissions, which is causing this failure.

Please refer this question to a general discussion group for your operating
system. It is permissions rather than IE based, and those with the most
experience with such issues are in those groups.
