Unable to retrieve archived contacts in outlook

when I try to retrieve my archived contacts (pst type file) I get an error
message "The command argument line is not valid. Verify the switch you are
using." Does anyone know what this means?

How are you tring to 'retrieve' the archive, and how did you 'create' this
'archive'

Within Outlook open the data file

Since Contacts are never archived, I'd suggest starting with how and why
yours were and how you are trying to retrieve them. As a courtesy to others
I'd also post other information no one could guess. Nothing fancy. Just
basic stuff like Outlook version and information store.
