unable to remove some programs

in the add or remove programs option there are some
programs which i am unable to remove and are possible
virus....
1. interstitial Ad delivery by n-case
2. pad lookups by n-case

when i try to uninstal these programs they give a
messege .must connect to the internet in order to remove
and the browser opens a link which becomes my home page
also some new programe is added which ends with n-case

help me i think these are virus programs i want them out
of my computer
