Unable to receive email at Verizon from NetZero

My email acct @ VERIZON.NET is suddenly unable to receive email from the
NETZERO.NET domain, using either Verizon web-based mail or Outlook Express.
I've checked both setups for fitering or blocked domains, and have all of
that off.

Verizon tech support sees no reason this is happening, yet I know of (3)
senders using Netzero whose emails have not come through. They don't get any
indication on thier end (error message, returned mail) that it didn't go
through.

Any other Verizon users, can you tell me if you've seen this problem?

If they don't show up in your inbox on the webmail page, they won't show up
in OE.

Is your friend sending from netzero.net sending to your correct address?

Thanks, yes, these senders have sent email to me for years, and one of my
"friends" is actually me (I have a Netzero free account as a backup). So I'm
certain the emails are going to the correct address...

YMMV but I've witnessed delays of up to a day or two in receiving mail
from/sending mail to a netzero address.

Anti Spam software will block some emails.
To ensure delivery you must have them setup in the contacts as the mail
address that you will be expecting. (This has become a footnote from many
support people sending replys.)

Outlook 2003 has this built in but I don'y know about older outlooks without
3rd party anti spam, they may not care.
Newer AV's may have AS also.

SJ, if the messages don't show up in his webpage (online) Inbox, any
anti-spam app he has installed won't be playing a part in his problem.

An update, I know of (4) others using NetZero, who's mail is not being
received at various Verizon addresses, and I've talked with (3) Verizon users
who confirm they are not receiving from NetZero (sends OK, though).

Obviously, not a problem with my particular system. Verizon says it must be

on NetZero's end, and vice-versa.... Any suggestions???

Nope. You have no control over NetZero or Verizon. If you need to get
emails from someone using NetZero, have them open a Hotmail or Yahoo
account instead and see if that works.

I used to have tons of problems with email when I had Verizon for an ISP.
They insisted that it wasn't their problem and weren't interested in fixing
anything. I dumped them and now I have no problems receiving emails from
anyone.
