Unable to read System Information

Using XP Home with SP2 installed

When I try to open 'system information' in 'System Tools' I get the 'Help
and Support' information! When I try to open 'Help and Support' from the
'Start' button I get an error message Windows cannot find 'helpctr.exe'

I can find the 'helpctr.exe' but obviously it in is in the wrong place for
Windows to action it

Are the .exe files in the wrong places and how do I get my 'System
Information' back?

Another problem I have (don't know if related) is that I have lost my video
capture facility!

That's fixed the 'Help and Support' problem but I still can't get the
'System Information'. When I click in that button I still get the /Help and
Support' facility?????????????

Reinstalling Help and Support Center should fix this.

Excellent - you appear to have solved my problems in respect of the 'H & S'
and the 'Sys Info'. Only one more to go but I don't that that a XP problem?

I have trouble with Video Capture and my 'Lifeview' TV card is not seen by
the system - I did try to contact the LIFEVIEW Support Team but they haven't
answered my email!!!

I would suggest re-posting this question in a new thread. My experience with TV
cards is extremely limited.
