Unable to play DVD....

on my Toshiba laptop running XP. I believe it may be
from 1 of 2 things - either that I am using multiple-
monitor setup (which I can't figure out how to remove and
just have one) or that I have the wrong decoder (but
don't know how to get a new one as I don't know which
type).

Any help will be appreciated!

you have to have a dvd decoder to play dvd on your
laptop. i assume you're using wmp but you didnt say.
donwload and install the dvd decoder pack for xp.
