Here is the deal, some of the users on our network are unable to open the xls
file attachment being sent out. Whenever they try to save the file they get
the error "Cannot save the attachmetn. Can't create file: ****.xls.
Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click
Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder." I
did try a work around temporarily, but my boss will not accept this as a fix.
exa... Person A sends person B an xls attachment. person B then forwards
this to an external email account like hotmail, then emails themselves again
from the same account. Then Person B can access the xls document. I find
this very strange, but maybee this will help with coming up with a solution.
