Unable to Open Web on some computers

I am trying to open a web page with FrontPage 2002 from a new PC with Windows
XP Home Edition Version 2002. The Connect To window appears and it allows me
to enter the Username and Password, however after two tries, I get the
message: The folder http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com isn't accessible. The folder may
be located in an unavailable location, protected with a password, or the file
name contains a / or \. On my four other PC's running Windows XP Media
Center or Windows XP Professional - the website opens normally after I enter
the password. I've checked the Security settings under Internet Options and
other suggestions that I've found - but nothing allows me to edit the website
from the PC with XP Home. Any suggestions?

Thanks, I've tried all of those suggestions and the Jimco Open Web - and the
same problem exists - I can open the website for editing from all other
computers, just not the one with Windows XP Home. After two tries
(irregardless if I use the correct password or not) I get the folder isn't
accessible message. Any other suggestions?

As an alternative, you may wish to download the FREE Jimco Open Web which
bypasses the web folders, which may be corrupted: www.jimcosoftware.com

Firewalls?

Proxies?

Is this all on the same LAN? Or is it an outside server.

When I open the home page in IE and use File Edit with FP - I get the same
error.

I then downloaded and ran the fpclean. It deleted 11 files, but I still get
the same symptoms/error. I enter the correct password and it represents the
box for the username/password. I enter it again, and then I get the error
message about the folder not being accessible (as detailed at the beginning).
Interesting to note, if I type the wrong password, I get the same
symptoms/error.
