Unable to open Volume Control

Hi

I can't open the Volume Control or update the drivers for Media Access
Control. XP Pro was reinstalled and since then I've had no sound.

Any help be appreciated.

Hello Ryan,

Did you install the correct drivers for your soundcard/chip? Check under
Device manager.

all the drivers appear to be working in device manager.

Hello Ryan,

Check if the windows drivers are used or the real drivers from your soundcard/chip.
Also show hidden devices in the device manager.
